Sleek Makeup Review (Face Form and Matte Me)

Hi everyone! Long time no see! This will be an extremely overdue post but i'm glad to be back. Here I have another review regarding 2 Sleek Makeup Products. I believe Sleek is a highstreet brand originally from the U.K. and can be purchased online here in Canada. I got the brand's Face Form Palette and Matte Me Liquid Lipstick from the Philippines.

First product we'll start off is the Face Form Palette in the shade Light. It comes as a trio with a powder contour/bronzer, highlight, and blush.

I used the contour shade with a Japonesque Kumadori brush to add dimension to my face below the cheekbones and temples.
In my opinion the contour shade leans towards the warmer tones making it act more like a bronzer on my skin. Pigmentation was decent but I would rather that happen that suddenly applying a lot of product on my face especially if i'm in a hurry. It does not require a lot of work to blend the product either.

Next up is the blush which comes in a lovely coral shade with gold shimmer. I applied it right on the cheekbones to not just add colour but also dimension. I usually avoid applying blush on the apples of my cheeks to prevent adding more roundness to my face. Pigmentation was great as well as blendability.

I applied the Highlight powder with a Sonia Kashuk Fan Brush. This one definitely had a lot of punch to it (in terms of pigmentation). Not a lot was needed for it to show up on my skin. It appears as a warm pearly highlight with a slight pink hue. The shimmers do not come in chunks which works well for my preference in highlighters.

In conclusion, the Face Form Palette is a great addition to my collection. All of the shades are great in terms of pigmentation, colour, and blendability. It comes in a compact packaging and mirror making it perfect for traveling (all you need is one angled blush brush and you'll be set).

Last product up is the Matte Me Liquid Lipstick in the shade Birthday Suit. This one comes in a standard doe foot applicator and clear acrylic packaging. The shade is darker when swatched and applied on the lips compared to the shade showing through the packaging.

Pigmentation is strong as you only need one swipe for the product to show up and cover the lips. The shade is a matte MLBB color that leans more towards pink/mauve. I wouldn't exactly say that it shows up nude comparing it to my other nude lip colours, since it doesn't lessen the pigment of my lips.

As for wear time, it lasted for 6 hours without any touch ups with minimal snacks and drinking water regularly.
It was not drying on my lips with initial application along with applying lip balm prior. However, I could feel my lips slowly getting dry and chapped throughout the day while testing this.

Pros:
- great pigmentation
- ease of application
- longevity

Cons:
- can be drying on the lips
- colour on tube does not transfer the same on lips

Due to this review I am now impressed with Sleek Makeup and might actually try more from them because of it. I love the pigmentation and wear time for both the Face Form Palette and Matte Me Liquid Lipstick. I recommend it to everyone if it's available where you live or if you can get it online.

That's all for now folks, thanks for reading!
